Appendix E Altimeter System
Test and Inspection
Test sets ranging from $3,650 (non RVSM) to $37,000 (RVSM)
Non-RVSM test sets require you to know the maximum knots for the airspeed indicator. Your choices are listed below:
- 650 knot range
- 420 knot range
- 250 knot range
- 650 knot range (digital)
You also need to know the maximum feet for your altimeter. Your choices are listed below:
- 50,000 feet
- 35,000 feet
- 55,000 feet (digital)
As an option you can have a vertical speed indicator. This is not required. Your choices are listed below:
- 2,000 feet minimum range
- 3,000 feet minimum range
- 4,000 feet minimum range
- 6,000 feet minimum range
- VSI included in Digital Altimeter
