Aero Express will buy, sell and trade the AST-4A depending on your needs.  The purpose of the AST-4A Antenna Simulator Test Panel is to replace the DAA-4A Antenna Drive Unit in the RDR-4A Radar System test environment.

Features:

  • The AST-4A simulates the motor load, mechanical response, and synchro outputs of the antenna drive unit
  • Responds to elevation and scan drive signals, originating at the RTA-4A Receiver-Transmitter, by feeding back simulated synchro output signals that are representative of the antenna azimuth and elevation motors
  • Capability of simulating all valid ranges that the RTA-4A   responds to
